UCPD alerts community of armed robbery on Northside

UCPD is investigating an armed robbery that occurred late Tuesday night in the area of Spruce Street and Hearst Avenue, according to a Nixle alert.

About 10:42 p.m., Berkeley Police Department and UCPD officers responded to the area after receiving reports of a robbery. Two suspects, one of whom was allegedly seen with a handgun, fled the scene on foot heading east on Hearst Avenue.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call UCPD at 510-981-5900.
