Finally, the most festive time of the year is upon us: It’s Shark Week, y’all! That means that for seven days, we stop revolving around the sun and start revolving around Discovery Channel’s marathon of cool shark vids. Naturally, you’re going to need a Shark Week playlist to help you celebrate.

We’ve got a bit of everything: “Jaws,” Billie Eilish, and the hit animated motion picture somehow starring Will Smith, Angelina Jolie and Robert De Niro, “Shark Tale.” You’re gonna love it as much as you love watching literal shark attacks (hopefully — we know that’s a high bar). Here are some highlights:

“Main Title and First Victim” — John Williams

We’d be remiss if we didn’t start with the “Jaws” theme. Come on — it’s just too good. This song probably sounds exactly how getting chased by a shark feels.

“Another One Bites the Dust” — Queen

This one goes out to all the shark attack enthusiasts. This song’s iconic bass line has that “mess with me, I dare you” energy. We can’t stop imagining a crew of cool sharks wearing leather jackets and sunglasses swimming along to the beat. It’s really a tribute to their inherent badassery.

“Car Wash (Shark Tale Mix)” — Christina Aguilera and Missy Elliott

To us, this song is the star of this playlist. Let this absolute bop transport you back to 2004: You’re sitting in a movie theater, Icee in hand, enjoying the cinematic masterpiece that is “Shark Tale.” Your ticket only cost $6. Life is good.

“Ocean Eyes” — Billie Eilish

Naturally, Shark Week can get you feeling a little emotional sometimes. Have no fear we’ve got Billie for that. Listen to this one as you ponder the enormity of the ocean and/or you start to wish you had someone special to watch Shark Week with.
