Berkeley Police Department releases footage of auto-burglary suspect

The Berkeley Police Department, or BPD, released footage of an auto-burglary suspect on their social media, according to Officer Sean Tinney.

The burglary occurred on June 18 when an unknown suspect broke a car window and stole a backpack on Kittredge Street near Shattuck Avenue, according to Tinney.

“If you have information about the suspect,” said the video, “please call BPD Property Crimes Unit at (510)-981-5737.”
