Dead week is the calm before the storm of the academic year — those days before finals when you have a week to reflect on the semester and prepare for the exams and papers waiting on the horizon. UC Berkeley is notoriously intense this time of year, so it’s also a good time to check in, reflect on the semester and take a well-deserved break.

With this issue, we hope to provide a range of options to help your dead week go smoothly. From Netflix recommendations to watch to day trips to take, this time is all yours.

There’s no one right way to do dead week, and we hope that it fits whatever you aim to achieve this week. Take care, and good luck on your exams!
