Berkeley police find casings but no victims after reports of gunfire in South Berkeley

Berkeley Police Department officers responded to a report of gunfire in South Berkeley on Oct. 30, according to a Nixle alert released Monday afternoon.

The alert said officers responded to the 1300 block of 66th Street on a report of gunfire about 7:56 p.m. Officers found several casings at the scene, but no victims or property damage were reported to BPD.
