The musical marvel “Mamma Mia!” is making a musical comeback! “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again” premieres Friday, and to get y’all pumped, here’s a list of lyrics that define our existence as UC Berkeley students.

1. “Mamma Mia! Here I go again!” — “Mamma Mia”

Literally all of us when classes start, when finals creep near, and every morning when we wake up. Freshmen, seniors and faculty alike.

2. “Half past 12 / Watchin’ the late show / In my flat all alone / How I hate to spend the evening on my own” — “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)”

The first three lines are applicable to most normal people. Now, the last line, that’s where it gets a little fishy. Nerd Nite, anyone? And probably the third one, too. Like, who can afford a flat in Berkeley alone?

3. “When you sleep by my side, I feel safe and I know I belong” — “Kisses of Fire”

Shout out to all the Berkeley pets! This one’s for you, buds.

4. “You’re in the mood for a dance / And when you get the chance / You are the dancing queen” — “Dancing Queen”

You’re lying if some exciting moments don’t make you want to break out in dance — such as actually being able to enroll in all the classes you want to take without CalCentral shutting down 54 times in the process!

5. “Every hour, every minute seemed to last eternally” — “Fernando”

Do you also think of the movie “Super Troopers” when you hear this song? We sure do, and if this line still stands, we know UC Berkeley’s super troopers won’t find us because they’re too busy sleeping on the job. P.S. This song features Cher in the movie!

7. “I see you leave your table / Pushing through the crowd / I’m really glad … ” — “Voulez-Vous”

When you want to get a seat at Cheese Board during peak time, this lyric is all too real.

8. “Gonna show him I care / Gonna teach him a lesson all right / What a crazy day / When I kissed the teacher” — “When I Kissed the Teacher”

OK, maybe not relatable for all Berkeley students, but you never know.

9. “So go away / God bless you” — “My Love, My Life”

Your friends try to get you to go out, but you have 12 papers and 15 tests the next day. Oh, well.
