There used to be a place called Joshuya,

Where parents flocked,

and people on first dates talked.

They served up the best,

From sushi to french fries —

It was all fresh.

That free miso right when you sat down

Never ever made someone frown.

Even though the service could sometimes be slow,

All of Berkeley never failed to go.

Now where will we go for that delicious sushi?

No one knows anything except that we’re all hungry and pushy.

Those twinkling lights and those delicious bites,

How we all miss Joshuya Brasserie.
