Two weeks ago, we opened up submissions for our Back to Berkeley Instagram contest, which commemorated the start of another academic year. All we required was that you share with us images of your favorite places in Berkeley, along with the date and location. You, the readers, responded, and we’re excited to finally share the winning Instas.

Be it the ceiling in Doe Library, the new Berkeley Art Museum or the beautiful sunlight filtering through campus, your favorites are as diverse as our 35,000-plus students. There are buildings that students have walked through thousands of times, rendered unrecognizable by a shift in perspective, and pink-sky sunsets that last just long enough for a snapshot.
