The UC Board of Regents is set to meet Wednesday and Thursday to discuss a number of issues relating to the university, including a discussion of the budget, the UC sexual assault task force and student access to mental health resources.

The meeting is scheduled to be held at the UCSF Mission Bay campus. The regents will convene for their first meeting at 8:30 a.m Wednesday.

On Wednesday, the board is set to discuss the 2015-16 budget, including options for revenue sources to fund the budget, such as finding additional state funds and increasing tuition and fees.

The regents will also hear recommendations from the Committee on Investments advocating the establishment of a framework for sustainable investment that considers social and environmental factors when making investments — with no explicit recommendation for the university to divest funds from companies with high fossil fuel reserves.

Fossil Free UC, a student group that has urged the university to divest on multiple occasions, intends to advocate for divestment at the meeting.

The regents will also discuss the progress of the UC sexual assault task force Wednesday.

On Thursday, the regents will discuss increased student access to mental health resources, as well as a number of compensation changes.
