It’s 2 a.m. during dead week, and you are hanging by your last remaining thread of sanity. After studying for five hours in a cramped cubicle in Moffitt Library with a dragon’s horde of coffee-stained notebooks and worksheets, you forgot to do one very important thing: eat. By now, your options are limited, but your hunger is mighty. Time to hound out a restaurant that’s still open at this late hour.

King Pin Donuts

Hours: Monday to Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 a.m.

You know what sounds great right now? Doughnuts. Sugary, glazed, cream-filled — it all sounds so delicious. Sometimes we all just need to sit down with a box of doughnuts to help us ease the pain of studying for hours on end, and King Pin will help us do that.

Artichoke Basille’s Pizza

Hours: Sunday to Thursday from 11 a.m.to 2 a.m., Friday to Saturday from 11 a.m.to 3 a.m.

Looking for something a little more substantive than doughnuts? Why not have some [Jennifer Lawrence voice] PIZZAAA! Artichoke Basille’s has some great things going for it: 1) You’re about to pass out from hunger, and 2) one slice will keep you full for the next 48 hours. You’ve never eaten a whole buffalo before, but you’re pretty sure it’s like eating a slice of Artichoke’s signature artichoke pizza. Upside: You will satiate your hunger. Downside: You will be super gassy all night. It won’t be cute.

Top Dog

Top Dog!

Hours: Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 a.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m, Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.

You don’t need to be drunk to eat at Top Dog — you can be really, really hungry too! Unfortunately, Top Dog during dead week will definitely be crowded. It’s funny how dead week is the one time of the year when people who have spent all night drinking and people who have spent all night studying are virtually indistinguishable from each other. Both look really bleary-eyed, speak with slowed or slurred speech and sway as they walk. And both are really emotional and/or crying. By the time they get their orders they’re practically weeping with gratitude.

Domino’s

Hours: Sunday to Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 2 a.m., Friday to Saturday from 10:30 a.m.to 3 a.m.

Where’s Domino’s again? Who cares — it delivers! You can order from the comfort of your home, so no human contact is necessary! Actually, now that you think about it, when was the last time you interacted with another human being? The last thing you said to someone in person was probably, “One double shot espresso, please.”

Seniore’s Pizza

Hours: Sunday to Thursday from 11 a.m.to 3 a.m., Friday to Saturday from 11 a.m.to 4 a.m.

Seniore’s is the king of late-night food. On Fridays and Saturdays, they’re open until 4 a.m. If you’re still awake by 4 a.m. on dead week, you are in a dire situation. You need all the comfort food you can get. What’s more, Seniore’s delivers. IT’S ALMOST TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. They’re not the hero Berkeley deserves but the hero it needs. Thank you, Seniore’s. Thank you for being Batman.
