Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer co-star in an English-language French film about an American mafia family who, after snitching, moves to France under the witness-protection program. Hijinks ensue as the family struggles to control old habits and maintain cover. This cross between “The Sopranos” and the Olsen Twins’ “Our Lips Are Sealed” comes out Friday.
The Weeknd at the Greek Theatre

Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival
This weekend’s celebration at Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco features chocolate tasting, local dessert sampling, live music and an ice-cream-eating contest. Guests can also attend culinary demonstrations by local chefs to learn how chocolate is made. Best of all, the event benefits Project Open Hand, a nonprofit that provides meals for seniors and the critically ill.
Shakespeare in the Park: “Macbeth”
The San Francisco Shakespeare Festival is hosting a free performance of the Bard’s most bewitching tragedy, “Macbeth,” on Sunday at the Parade Ground Lawn of the Presidio. Bring along your friends, a blanket and a picnic, and enjoy a free professional performance.
